Asphalt Removal & Replacement
Asphalt pavement appearance and strength deteriorates over time. Hairline cracks can emerge and spread deep within the asphalt. Proper ongoing maintenance of crack sealing and/or seal coating is necessary to keep water from entering through cracks. If these holes, they undermine the base, and the most effective form of repair is to remove and replace the deteriorated area.

Asphalt Repair & Patching
Patching is a common solution for repairing pavement with potholes. Potholes occur when water seeps into pavement through unsealed or improperly sealed cracks. When the water freezes, it expands and enlarges the crack. When the ice under the pavement melts, a void is left. Surrounding pavement falls into the void and forms a pothole.

Concrete provides excellent performance throughout its life when it is mixed properly, but once the mix has been laid and dries, the aging process begins. When holes form, this ruins the concrete’s integrity, and the most effective solution is to remove and replace the damaged area.
